2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data may be processed, including IP address, date and time, requested address, transferred data, referrer, browser and operating system. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to provide the website securely and reliably. Logs are deleted when no longer required unless legal retention or security reasons apply.

3. Contact and business enquiries

When you contact us, we process the details and content you provide to answer the enquiry and prepare a possible business relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Business data in Odoo

We use Odoo Online, provided by Odoo S.A., Belgium, to manage contacts, leads, quotations, contracts, projects and invoices. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR. Odoo acts as processor and may use sub-processors under appropriate safeguards. See the Odoo privacy policy.

5. Free email series and newsletter

If you subscribe, we process your email address and optional details such as name, company and interests. We may also store subscription and confirmation times, campaign allocation, delivery, bounces, unsubscribe events and — where described in the consent and enabled — opens and link clicks.

Subscription uses double opt-in. The legal basis for sending and the stated performance measurement is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Mailing, list management and automation are handled through Odoo Online. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website currently uses no analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies and no comparable storage technologies. Google Analytics and advertising pixels from LinkedIn, Meta or other networks are not embedded. Fonts are served locally. No consent banner is therefore shown. If consent-based services are added later, they will be blocked until prior consent and this policy will be updated.

7. Recipients and retention

Data is available only to authorised persons and processors who need it for the purposes stated, especially Hetzner for hosting and Odoo for business processes and email marketing. Business records are retained for statutory commercial and tax periods. Other data is deleted when no longer necessary, subject to legal duties and legitimate interests.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn for the future at any time. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, www.ldi.nrw.de.

9. Security and updates

We use HTTPS and appropriate technical and organisational measures. This policy will be updated when services, processing activities or legal requirements change.
