Albrecht Bäumer · Mechanical engineering · long-term collaboration

Grounded was not a style choice. It was the core.

A conventional stand pitch became a shared direction through a two-day workshop: grounded, approachable and designed around meaningful conversations.

The real task came before the design.

Bäumer initially invited three stand builders to develop a concept. Even at that stage, we studied the company, its work and its culture more deeply than a conventional spatial brief required.

The concept convinced the team. But for us, it was not yet a sufficient foundation. Before the idea could become a lasting appearance, we needed to understand what makes Bäumer recognisably Bäumer.

02

The direction was built with the company.

Marketing, sales, service, production and management joined a two-day workshop. We explored how each group saw the business, what people valued and how customer relationships actually worked.

The common core was not corporate gloss. It was a grounded, direct and personal culture. Bäumer was already well known in its market; the stand needed to enable relationships rather than make inflated claims.

The space follows the way Bäumer builds relationships.

Products remain visible, but do not automatically consume most of the floor. Open, equal conversation areas replace separated VIP rooms. Black surfaces and warm timber now create a deliberate contrast to the familiar blue and white of many engineering stands.

The modular system adapts to different sizes and international shows. Depending on the project, klardenker provides strategy, key visuals, graphics, coordination and turnkey delivery as an extension of the internal team.
